Social Media Marketing Vs. Traditional Marketing In TheEntertainmentBusiness


We all know that the bottom line of marketing is to promote a company or brand better to its targeted audience. So when it comes to the entertainment business and marketing which is the best outlet to use? With so many different types of marketing out there the one that we all come across more today is social media & digital marketing. From small businesses to large establishments, no one can really deny the importance of having customers. It's considered as a necessity of every business, and without the help of its clientele, a company cannot achieve its desired success. In order to reach out to a maximum number of customers, you need to market your business well. 

Unlike traditional marketing where people were forced to listen and comprehend the advertisements from companies through different mediums such as banners, newspapers, television and radio, here you have social media & digital marketing where it does not indulge in any forced involvement of its users. Users are free to ‘like’ a company only when he or she is convinced about its credibility on a personal level. In addition social marketing also provides an interactive and organized platform where customers can convey and have better direct interaction with a said entertainment business company or company outside the entertainment world, which makes it so prevalent in today's marketing society and in the entertainment business.



However, traditional marketing methods can still work in today’s society as well and should not be considered as obsolete. There are proven methods of advertising that have been used for years to attract and influence large number of potential customers. If you want the best marketing results for your business, it is always suggested that you do not ignore any of the advertising forms. In the entertainment business you will always have room to use many different aspects of marketing to get through to your perspective audience. You can use a balanced blend of both the traditional and modern marketing methods to ensure the best quality of up scaling the success for your entertainment business or company in general. Since I am still in college learning all about the entertainment world marketing for me is going to be very important to my business once I open up and expand in the near future.
